We’re transforming common spaces at HomeStart in Chapel Hill, and we’d love to have you join us for a hands-on volunteer day. Tuesday, September 29 | HomeStart, Chapel Hill
Morning Shift: 10 AM–1 PM | Afternoon Shift: 1–3 PM We’ll be painting, assembling furniture, hanging décor, and adding the finishing touches that turn these shared spaces into warm, welcoming environments for the women and children staying at HomeStart. Space is limited to about six volunteers per shift, so sign up early! |

Our storage units are the behind-the-scenes hub for A Lotta Love, holding donated furniture, bedding, décor, supplies, and so much more that goes directly into our shelter transformations.
This October, we’re holding a three Storage Unit Volunteer Days to clean out, sort, organize, and get everything ready for upcoming projects.
October 1 | 9 AM–1 PM | 8 volunteers needed
October 6 | 9 AM–1 PM | 8 volunteers needed
October 20 | 9 AM–1 PM | 8 volunteers needed
A Lotta Love Shelter Leads will be onsite to guide the work. Come ready to sort, organize, move items, and help us make the most of every donation we receive. |
